New Student Orientation
Orientation is designed to help the student get connected with instructors, staff and other students. Orientation covers necessary information about programs, services, study skills and registration. Orientations are offered on various dates and in a variety of formats. For more information, contact the Advising Center at 254-298-8331.
- Any student new to Temple College is encouraged to complete an orientation session.
- You must have already completed an application for admission and taken the THEA or required assessments to enroll for orientation.
- What you will learn:
- Information about TC programs and services
- Clubs and activities available for students
- Knowledge of college study skills, time management, and
academic strategies for use in college
- Degree requirements and assessment policies
- How Do I Register?
- Students must complete the registration form and return it to Temple College Advising Center or contact the Advising Center at 254-298-8331 to register by phone. All registration forms must be received by January 2, 2006.

- Students attend New
Student Orientation on Thursday
January 5. Check-in starts at 8:30 am in the Arnold Student Union and the
session will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3 pm.
- Where?
- New Student Orientation will take place in the Leopard Room of the Arnold Student Union.
- How Should I Dress?
- Students are asked to dress comfortably;
in shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. Some
of the activities planned will require visiting
various offices around campus.
